endless aqua blue

then splash

cool

down into it

one with it

all silent

except for my breath

feeling lighter than

air

lighter than water

lighter than the salt

surrounding me

wheeling

left,

then right,

now lithe as a child

and the aqua blue

becomes background

to uncountable

stripes dots circles chevrons

of gold pink green orange purple

and colors never imagined

circling around me

sunlight filtering through

in flashes

creating

endless patterns

on the carousel

of ever-changing

color

speed

fluttering of fins

and moving of eyes

as they look at me
